My father and uncle are Vietnam veterans and retired police officers. My family has a long history of service in law enforcement, education and the military. I am deeply proud of the dedication and selfless service my family has given to our country. Giving back to those who have sacrificed for others is extremely important to me. I have enjoyed volunteering at local Wounded Warrior annual events, and I am excited to now expand that impact throughout the year.
